TikitTFB, then known as TFB plc, first entered the IT market in 1976 supplying Logabax hardware to law firms. Realising the potential for computer programs to help drive business processes, the company moved into software. During the next two decades, TFB developed and supplied three successive versions of their Senior Partner system to small and mid-sized firms, before launching the Partner for Windows case and practice management system in 1999.
Since then the company and development of Partner for Windows has grown dramatically. In 2001, TFB acquired Avenue Legal Systems doubling the company’s client base immediately and saw the majority of clients successfully move over to the Partner for Windows platform. Then followed a strategic purchase of CB systems and Northern Ireland based Phibeta, and in 2005, TFB entered into a partnership with Legal IT, our official distributor of Partner for Windows based in the Republic of Ireland.
In 2008, Tikit, the leading supplier to the Top 100 UK law firms, acquired TFB plc and in February 2010, TFB plc launched the TikitTFB corporate brand.
Whilst now part of a group that provides IT services and software to 90% of the UK's top 100 law firms, TikitTFB remains loyal to its core market and are now in a unique position to make magic circle technology accessible and affordable to large regional and high street firms.
